BBA - Business Process Services (BPS)
The Department of Business Administration was started in the
year 1996 to impart Management Education and motivate young budding managers. The
department develops curriculum to meet the Industry needs. From the
Academic year 2017 – 2018 BBA course is restructured as BBA – Business Process
Services ( BPS) – to meet the industry needs. For the First year there is no change in the
curriculum. From the Second year of study, two specialised electives per
semester will be introduced, in addition to the already existing
curriculum.

The students will be
given special training by Tata Consultancy Services and based on their
performance during placement interview, they will be
get placement in TCS or other reputed organizations. The course helps the
students to get a high-profile job, or take up higher education in
management.
The pedagogy of the
BBA program consist of lectures, Research Projects, case studies, seminars,
workshops, management quiz, and other student centric activities. To update the
knowledge and have a practical exposure the department organizes seminars and
industrial visits. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between
conceptual learning and practical application and to inculcate professional and
managerial expertise.

Project
Each student is required to do
project in any one of the following areas
Ø Finance
Banking
Financial
Services.
Ø Marketing
Ø Human Resource Management
Ø Production & Materials Management
And Submit a Project report.
Internship Programme
As
a Part of the Academic Curriculum students undergo
internship programme in Manufacturing companies/Banks/Insurance
Companies/Financial Institutions for a period of 30 days at the end
of IV semester and submit internship Report.
40 Students got registered in placement cell and got placed through
campus recruitment.
