Orientation was conducted for the first year students on 24th july, 2018 in which our madam principal and other faculty introduced the facilities of the college that supports the students’ education and personal goals.

Fresher’s Day was celebrated on 27th july, 2018 to welcome the I year students. Senior students performed various programmes like dances, skits, etc. to entertain the I year students.

On 6th August 2018, Union Inauguration was held. Mr.G.Olivannan, CEO of Emerald Publishers, Chennai inducted the union office bearers to their posts. He gave a speech on “RAS-Reticular Activating System”

Colours Day was celebrated on 10th August 2018. In order to promote Eco-friendly environment, Our students represented themselves in green colour outfits.

Ethnic day was celebrated on 31st August 2018. All the students of our college wore ethnic costumes to enjoy the cultural unity on the day. A Ramp walk was conducted in which the students appeared in traditional attires of various states of India.

Krishna Jayanthi was celebrated in our college on 31st August, 2018. Pooja was done to Lord Krishna and the students performed many cultural events in praise of Lord Krishna.

72nd Independence day was celebrated in our campus on 15th August, 2018. Our Madam Principal Dr. R.Geetha hoisted the tricolour national flag. Many cultural events were performed by our students to reassure the importance of patriotism.

In order to honour the teachers of our college, students conducted various programmes to entertain them on 05th September, 2018 (Teacher’s day).

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, Students performed various programmes signifying the ideal principles of Gandhiji, particularly highlighting the importance of women in the social context.

A short film called “Nehru Mama” was telecasted to the 1st year students. The short film was fully based on the life history of Jawahar Lal Nehru.

World Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 8th October 2018. A Small gift was presented to the teachers.

On 18th October 2018, Saraswathi pooja was celebrated in all the departments of our college. Students dressed up traditionally and enjoyed this special occasion.

Food sharing day was celebrated on 16th October 2018. This was an attempt to inculcate the habit of sharing and intensifying the helping tendencies of the students.

International AIDS awareness day is observed on 01st December 2018. So the students mimed the facts about AIDS, the ways to prevent the disease and to destroy the stigma over the diseased.

With the advent of Smart phones and Mail communication, Letter writing has become a lost skill now. So On 7th December 2018, Letter writing day was observed. Students were asked to write a formal letter to their respective departments by giving expression to their thoughts.

Human Rights Day is celebrated on 10th December 2018 internationally. To create awareness about human rights, students performed various activities like mime, speech etc.

As a symbol of reverence to Our Mahakavi Bharathiyar, on 11th December 2018, his 136th birth anniversary was celebrated in our college. Poster making competition was held on the title, “ACHAM THAVIR” to make his vision about the liberated Indian society flourish.

Christmas, New year, Pongal festivals were celebrated with zeal. Union Valedictory was held on 28.3.2019. Smt. U. Uma Devi, Additional Commissioner of Labour,Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Board,Chennai was the Chief Guest.
